So, it seems that I am 1/8 Chippewa. My biological father's grandparents were both full-blooded Chippewa, of the Saginaw band in Michigan. Huh? Yeah, I'm still trying to process this.
You know, when I took a DNA test through ancestry.com to discover my ethnic make up, this was *not* at all what I expected to find. Ethnicity aside, finding biological relatives is absolutely nuts! It's only February... I'm not sure I'm ready for an entire year of this kind of revelation.
